Who we are
GrantLever connects MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship applicants with experts who scored proposals.
The premise is simple. The people best placed to tell you how your proposal will be read are the people who read proposals for a living. Not writing coaches. Not consultants who once applied. Experts in panels, under the same framework yours will be assessed against.
GrantLever was founded by Sergio de Juan, PhD, who has served as an expert for the European Commission and has assessed over fifty proposals. Every case is matched to an expert working in the applicant's own research area, with a minimum eighty five per cent content overlap. Not an adjacent field expert.
How evaluator confidentiality works
What we do
We review. We do not write, edit or coach.
Our reports tell you what a panel is likely to see in your proposal, which aspects are at risk of losing points, and what would have to change to fix them. Sometimes that means telling a candidate their concept is not competitive and that the honest answer is to rework it or step away. That is part of the service, not a failure of it.
Experts contracted by GrantLever work under strict confidentiality agreements covering both your materials and their own identity. Experts are never disclosed to clients, and they declare any conflict of interest before a case is assigned. Your proposal is seen only by the reviewer working on your case.
Independence
GrantLever is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the European Commission, REA, or any national agency. We do not guarantee funding, and no service we offer influences the outcome of an official evaluation.
Join our expert network
GrantLever collaborates with independent experts who have experience evaluating or preparing proposals in European research funding programmes such as Horizon Europe and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.
We occasionally expand our network of reviewers and subject-matter experts to support proposal reviews.
