Host Finder · MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships

Find a host for your fellowship, or a fellow for your group.

Tell us about your project or your group. Every week we look for candidates and groups whose research fits, and when it does, we introduce you by email, with the agreement of both.

How a match works

  • Step 1

You fill in a short form

    Five minutes, no documents.

  • Step 2

We look for a fit every week

The same panel, a related topic and a host country where the candidate is eligible.

  • Step 3

We describe the match to both sides

A short summary, without names or contact details.

  • Step 4

If you both agree, we introduce you

By email. From there, the conversation is yours.

Before you choose a host

Three rules decide where you can go.

The mobility rule

You cannot have lived or carried out your main activity in the host country for more than 12 months in the 36 months before the call deadline. For Global Fellowships, the country of the outgoing host.

Eight years after the PhD

At most eight years of research experience since the award of your PhD, counted at the deadline. Career breaks and years outside research do not count.

The same host after a low score

Since the 2026 call, if your proposal scored below 80, you cannot apply again with the same host the following year. A new host opens the door.

Host Finder is one more route, not the only one. Look in parallel at the hosting offers on EURAXESS, the groups behind the papers you cite, and your own network.

For candidates

Looking for a host for the 2027 call?

Tell us your research area, your project idea and where you could go. A short idea is enough: a good host will help you shape it. Start early, because many hosts choose their candidates in spring for the September deadline.

What we share, and when

If a group fits, we send them a short summary of your area and your idea, without your name or contact details. We introduce you only if you both agree.

For groups and supervisors

Looking for an MSCA fellow for your group?

An MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship brings a funded researcher with their own project to your group, for one to two years in Europe. Tell us your research lines and the profile you are looking for, and we will introduce you to candidates whose projects fit.

Research offices can register several groups: one form for each group, so every match is precise.

Questions

Common questions

Is it free?

Yes, while we test it. If that ever changes, we will tell everyone registered before anything is charged.

Do you guarantee a host?

No. We introduce you when there is a real fit, and some areas have more groups than others. Keep looking in parallel: the hosting offers on EURAXESS, your network and the groups behind the work you cite.

Who sees my information?

Only GrantLever, until there is a match. Then the other side receives a short summary without your name or contact details, and we introduce you only if you both agree. We never publish profiles.

Do I need a written proposal?

No. A paragraph on your idea is enough. Once you have a nearly complete draft with your host, the MSCA PF Pre-Submission Evaluation tells you where it will lose points.

How long do you keep my entry?

Twelve months from your last update, or until you ask us to remove it. Write to us at any time to update or delete it.

Can a research office register several groups?

Yes, with one form for each group, so every match is precise.
